Late 60s Recco made by Sakai

A fantastic player with two gold foil pickups. Has a wonderful vintage, low fi tone you could associate with the blues of Hound Dod Taylor and great garage rock. It’s even got very useable jazzy tones. I have also found a period correct arm for the vibrato and it works beautifully for gentle warbles - No dive bombs please! It has bumps and knocks associated with a guitar that has been used and is nearing 50 years old but none of that takes away from the amazing vibe of a vintage instrument. Tuners work well and are original as is everything on this guitar.
The scratch plate has (in the past) been broken near the output jack and was glued back together. The bond is strong and I have left it alone as it adds to the history of the instrument.
Tonally, the pickups work really well and have a great vintage voice that can be further tweaked with the volume and tone.
